Every oil and gas site is a unique combination of pressures, fluids, temperatures, and operating conditions.

Whether you're designing a new site or upgrading existing equipment, this library serves as a practical reference to guide product selection and identify the right control solutions for your application.

Explore the applications below to see how BelGAS CP products work across the industry’s most critical systems.

High-pressure compressor systems increase the gas stream's pressure so it can move through gathering lines, feed a gas-lift system, or reach processing and sales points. As gas enters the station, scrubbers remove entrained liquids before the compressor raises pressure and a cooling system manages discharge temperatures. Accurate suction and discharge control is essential for protecting equipment and maintaining stable flow—making reliable regulators, pilots, and back-pressure valves critical to overall compressor performance.

A pneumatic dehydrator removes water vapor from natural gas to prevent hydrate formation, corrosion, and downstream flow issues. Wet gas flows through a contact tower where glycol absorbs moisture before being routed to a reboiler for regeneration. Stable temperature control, fluid-level management, and pressure regulation keep the system efficient and protect burners, pumps, and vessels. BelGAS CP controls help operators maintain consistent dehydration performance across variable field conditions.

A Gas Production Unit (GPU) blends upstream heating with primary separation in a single package. The line heater raises fluid temperature before the choke to avoid freezing or hydrate formation, while the horizontal separator removes entrained liquids and stabilizes production. Effective level, pressure, and temperature control ensure the GPU prepares the stream for downstream equipment and protects against unplanned shutdowns or erosional damage.

A heater treater applies controlled heat to break oil-water emulsions and separate the production stream into oil, water, and gas. Inside the vessel, a fire tube transfers heat to the emulsion, allowing gas to disengage and rise while oil and water settle into distinct layers for controlled dumping. Proper burner control, temperature regulation, and level management are essential to maintain treating efficiency.

A high-pressure, pneumatic, separator is engineered for wells with high gas-to-liquid ratios. Incoming flow strikes an inlet diverter, allowing gas to rapidly disengage and move upward through a mist extractor before exiting. Oil and water settle vertically, forming distinct layers that are managed by pneumatic level and interface controllers for precise dumping. This configuration is commonly used in high-pressure production facilities where fast gas separation and consistent interface control are essential. Applications are typically between 500 PSI and 4,000 PSI.
