P63 Relief Valve/ Back Pressure Regulator
The P63 is a pilot operated relief valve/backpressure regulator. The main valve is capable of delivering large flow capacities while the pilot control maintains accurate set points. The P63 is used to maintain upstream pressure below a desired set point. When the upstream pressure rises above the set point, the main valve strokes allowing the unit to flow and decreases the upstream pressure below the set point. Once the pressure falls below the set point, the main valve shuts and prevents flow through the unit and remains shut as long as upstream pressure is below the unit's set point.
