Model P8000
Hammer Union with Trunnion Assembly
The BelGAS CP P8000 series is a hammer union, weldneck and trunnion assembly which operates a mechanical dump valve.
The P8000 series Hammer Union with Trunnion Assembly is installed onto a vessel. The assembly uses a float/ float arm attachment to monitor liquid level in the vessel. As the liquid level rises or falls the float arm moves a float hub and shaft on the trunnion assembly. This motion causes the lever to rise or fall. The lever is attached via a link arm to a mechanical dump valve. The mechanical dump valve is triggered by this motion.

Sizes: Weldnecks offered in 5" and 8" lengths
Threads: Standard Straight Pipe Threads (NPSL) or Acme
Seals: Available in Nitrile, Fluorocarbon, and HSN
